Touch the "Clean Duplicate Photos" card on the main screen and press the "Scan" button. The app will request access to your photo library. After granting permission, scanning will begin. All processing happens on your device, no photos are uploaded to servers.
Are my photos safe? Are they uploaded to servers?
No, no photos are uploaded to servers. All analysis happens on your device. Platform-native AI tools like iOS Vision Framework and Android TensorFlow Lite are used. The app can work completely offline.
Can I recover deleted photos?
No, deleted photos cannot be recovered. Therefore, always preview before deletion and carefully select which photos you want to delete. We recommend regularly backing up your important photos.
How can I clean storage space?
Go to the storage screen by touching the "Storage & RAM" card. Here you can find large files, analyze storage, and clean temporary files, cache files, and empty directories on Android.
What are premium features?
Premium features: Unlimited photo scanning, advanced AI detection, view all duplicate photos, batch deletion operations, thermal monitoring features, and priority support. Premium features are activated through in-app purchase.
Are there differences between iOS and Android?
Yes. On Android, RAM cleaning, temporary file cleaning, and full storage access are available. On iOS, these features are limited because iOS restricts file system access. Duplicate photo detection and thermal monitoring are available on both platforms.
The app is very slow, what should I do?
Scanning large photo libraries may take some time. Try closing and reopening the app. Check your device's storage space. You can use the RAM cleaning feature on Android. If the problem persists, contact our support team.
What is thermal monitoring and how is it used?
Thermal monitoring allows you to monitor your device's temperature status in real-time (Premium feature). It can be used to prevent your device from overheating. You can access it by touching the "Thermal Monitor" card.

Yes, it is completely safe. CleanUrPhone only accesses your photo library to detect duplicate photos. No photos are uploaded, shared, or saved to servers. All processing happens on your device.
